Best Pizza & Brew stepped up to help North County students in a big way. The restaurant raised more than $5,000 for South Oceanside Elementary.
Held on November 1, the fundraiser served as the grand opening for the pizza chain’s Oceanside location at 1639 South Coast Highway. About 200 people enjoyed delicious pizzas, sandwiches and other food items for a great cause. 100 percent of the money raised went directly to the school.

It’s nothing new for the pizza chain. As Best Pizza & Brew owner and operator Charlie Muirhead says, “Our restaurants have always given back by supporting the local community and many charitable causes”. The restaurant serves classic pizzas plus specialty pies, sandwiches, salads and has an extensive list of craft beers. Also, if you want some late night dining, Best Pizza & Beer has $1.50 pizza slices during the last hour its open daily.
The new Oceanside location, joins other Best Pizza & Brew’s in Cardiff and Mira Mesa.
