Bleu Bohème, located in Kensington, will reopen its doors to guests today, Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m.

Consistently awarded “Best French” in San Diego, Bleu Bohème will serve its full menu for dine-in guests starting with its reopening, as well as takeout and delivery using the restaurant’s own platform in about a week. Per state guidelines, the restaurant will limit occupancy to 50%, as well as also follow all health and social distancing guidelines, including cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Bleu Bohème will continue to offer its popular social hour menu, available in the bar area, only, from 5-6 p.m. The menu includes discounts on select dishes, cocktails, wines and beers. Also available are “Monday Mussels and Martinis,” with social hour prices on mussels and martinis throughout the night; and the “Bohemian Menu,” a three-course dinner priced at $35 per person available every Tuesday.
Bleu Bohème will continue to serve new dishes every week, along with a core menu of restaurant favorites. Selections include tartare de saumon, house rum-smoked salmon, goat cheese crêpe, lemon zest, capers and caviar crème frâiche; gnocchi à la Parisienne, sautéed Gruyère dumplings, cauliflower, broccolini and romesco in white wine sauce; entrecôte de porc, curry-marinated Duroc bone-in chop with Brussels sprouts, pommes purée and port-fig sauce; boeuf bourguignon, angus beef short rib marinated in red wine served with mushroom, house-smoked bacon, carrot, baby potatoes and caramelized pearl onions; and more.

Famous for its selection of moules frites, the restaurant’s selections include black Mediterranean mussels served with Bleu pommes frites, including au Roquefort, blue cheese cream, scallion and white wine; aux champignons, mushroom, bacon, white wine and garlic cream; au saffran, Portuguese sausage, fennel and Spanish saffron, and garlic cream; and more.
