Diane Powers’ Bazaar del Mundo Shops and neighboring Mexican restaurant Casa Guadalajara, two of San Diego’s favorite places for festive shopping and dining, reopened today in Old Town.

Bazaar del Mundo, an independently-owned colorful collection of retail shops offering unique items from around the world, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Casa Guadalajara, known for its award-winning cuisine, lively atmosphere and giant margaritas, is open for dine-in and take-out service daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“We are so grateful for all the support and patience from our customers over the last few months,” said Owner/Operator Powers. “We are excited to welcome them back and show off the wonderful new items we have stocked in our Bazaar del Mundo Shops. Longtime customers will also notice some new décor in Casa Guadalajara’s Cantina – making our atmosphere more spirited than ever before!”
In compliance with State, City and County guidelines, both locations are implementing all required measures to help protect the health and safety of their guests, staff and community.

For Casa Guadalajara’s reopening, Powers is offering a special menu featuring the restaurant’s most popular dishes and longtime customer favorites, which can be found at casaguadalajara.com/menu. Delivery service is also available through DoorDash, Postmates and The Office Express.
