City Tacos hit a home run with its latest installment, Ballpark Taqueria

City Tacos has continued to provide flavor and flair since to the taco scene since its inception in 2014. With six existing locations across San Diego neighborhoods, including North Park, La Mesa, Pacific Beach, Sorrento Valley, Encinitas, and Imperial Beach, the beloved taqueria has officially opened its seventh location in the heart of downtown.

City Tacos Ballpark Taqueria recently opened its doors on April 1, just in time to welcome Padres fans for Opening Day. Let's Taco'Bout the new outpost, located directly next to Petco Park, currently features a limited food menu with core favorites such as the Mexicali, Chorizo Asado, Pescado, and Pollo Asado Tacos, as well as vegetarian selections. Locals and visitors can pair dishes alongside Mexican sodas, aguas frescas, wine, and beer on the outdoor patio, or inside with limited indoor seating.

Each City Tacos location boasts a vibrant aesthetic, unique to its atmosphere, and City Tacos Ballpark is no different. With an inviting layout, the eatery features fun design elements ranging from a neon sign with a quippy slogan (‘Stressed, Blessed, and Taco Obsessed’) to its iconic pug mascot donning a baseball cap, City Tacos is providing a home run experience.


City Tacos Ballpark Taqueria is located at 323 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101, and is currently open two hours before and after all Padres home games.
