Ristorante Illando’s New Dishes Transport Guests to Springtime in Italy

Ristorante Illando, an intimate Tuscan trattoria and family-owned by Leo Landini, a Florence, Italy native, and his wife, Christine Landini, is springing into warmer weather with flavorful new seasonal offerings, available now.

Inspired by fresh seasonal produce, the restaurant’s new selections include: strawberry salad with arugula, shaved parmesan and balsamic vinegar; penne pasta with Atlantic salmon and sauteed organic zucchini in a light cream sauce; gnocchi with sauteed organic asparagus, pancetta and pesto cream sauce; wild halibut cooked in foil with shrimp, mussels, clams and cherry tomatoes; Tuscan-stuffed chicken breast with prosciutto, asparagus and provolone cheese; and lemon ricotta cake.

Located upstairs above their flagship Landini’s Pizzeria along with a spacious, backyard patio, Illando serves antipasti; an assortment of house-made pasta dishes, including carbonara, pappardelle Bolognese and lasagna; and Landini’s famous New York-style pizzas. Illando also offers an extensive wine list and selection of Italian and local craft beers.

Ristorante Illando is open from noon to 10 p.m. daily, with indoor and outdoor seating for on-site dining, in addition to takeout. Third-party delivery is also available through UberEats. Postmates and Grubhub. Hours are subject to change. Ristorante Illando is in full adherence to government health and safety mandates set by the State of California, which include full mask requirements for employees and guests, and strict social distancing.
